From the haunting electroacoustic soundscapes of Jonathan Harvey’s Mortuos Plango, Vivos Voco to the aching romanticism of Schumann’s Dichterliebe, ethereal strands of colour and fleeting glimpses of beauty half-remembered form a profound meditation on love, loss and the pain of letting go.  

Meditations on the Avant-garde is a new series seeking to combine the profound spiritual depth of communal meditation with the brilliance, vision and ecstatic forms of acousmatic sound art.
